Brentley Noelle Scruggs graduated from the University of Alabama on Saturday, May 8. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Education degree in elementary education. She maintained a 3.8 grade point average during her four years at the university.

Scruggs was a member of Phi Mu Social Sorority for the past four years. She was the recipient of the Chilton County Retired Educator’s Scholarship, which is given to an individual receiving a degree in education. She will be teaching first grade at Dean Road Elementary School in Auburn this fall.

Scruggs is the daughter of Brent and Paige Scruggs of Clanton and the granddaughter of

Marvin and Joan Robinson of Jemison and Ray and Hera Scruggs of Clanton.
