Helen G. Rasberry, 88, of Maplesville died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
She was born Thursday, April 27, 1922, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Harvey Glasscock and the late Ada Lee Smitherman Glasscock.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her two sons, Jimmy Wayne (Hazel) Rasberry of Maplesville and Charles Danny (Sandi) Rasberry of Maplesville; four daughters, Emma Jean (Dick) Johnson of Tuscaloosa, Betty Ann Rasberry of Pelham, Peggy Sue Lenior of Maplesville and Debbie Lucile (Tom) Trent of Prattville; sister, Peggy Glasscock Hayes of Thorsby; and 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 11 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Saturday, June 12 at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Danny Rasberry and the Rev. David Bishop officiating.
