Mary Agnes Friday, 80, of Stanton died Friday, June 4, 2010.
She was born Friday, March 28, 1930, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Dennis Oliver Burnett Sr. and the late Mildred Schurter Burnett.
She retired in 2004 after 60 years of working for the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol (Gary) Harrison of Stanton; two sons, Ed (Nina) Dennis of Burnsville and Perry Friday of Stanton; and daughter, Vicki (Ted) Anz of Stanton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis O. and Mildred Burnett; and husband, Lewis Friday.
Services were held Monday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating. Interment followed in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery in Stanton.
Pallbearers were Casey Carter, Brooks Burnett, Bobby Burnett, Jeff Lenoir, Russell Seales and Johnny Higginbotham. Honorary pallbearer was Burton Huff.
