Some graduations require tickets

It’s that time of year again. “Pomp and circumstance” will be playing as Chilton County’s seniors prepare for the next part of their lives.

Local graduation ceremonies, which are outlined below, are next week. All Chilton County schools will hold graduation ceremonies on May 27. Some graduations require tickets.

Chilton County High School graduation will take place on May 27 at 6 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are required to attend. Graduates are each given six tickets to distribute to friends and family. Once all ticket holders are seated, others waiting to attend will be allowed to enter.

Jemison High School graduation will be held on May 27 at 7 p.m. at the football field. Those who attend will not require tickets unless it is moved into the basketball gym. In that case, students will be given tickets to distribute.

Isabella High School graduation will be held on May 27 in the school auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets are required to attend. Students each have nine to distribute.

Thorsby High School graduation will take place on May 27 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. No tickets will be required for admission.

Maplesville High School graduation is on May 27 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. No tickets are required for admission.

Verbena High School graduation will be held on May 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are not required for admission.

Billingsley High School graduation will be held on May 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets are not required for admission.

Marbury High School graduation will be held on May 27 at 7 p.m. in the new school’s gymnasium. Tickets will be required for admission. Attendees can obtain one by visiting the office prior to the event.
