Robert Lee Jones Sr., 70, of Randolph died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born Saturday, Dec. 16, 1939, in McCreary County, Ky., son of the late Harold Jones and the late Beeda Martin Jones.
He was a retired truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Jewel Jones of Randolph; three sons, Tony (Mannely) Jones of Shelby, Bobby (Linda) Jones of Marbury and Butch (Cindy) Jones of Jemison; six grandchildren, Tonya (Andy) Scott, Chris (Tamara) Jones, Ryan (Janet Wilson) Jones, Josh  Jones, Marisa Jones and Miranda (Jacob) Hayes; five great-grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Tyler Scott, Hunter Jones, Addison Hayes and Brayden Hayes; two special friends, Tomas Navarro and Jose Alvarez; brother, Jim Jones; and two sisters, Wilma  Jean Tieke and Alma Ruth Charles.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating.
Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery in Jemison.
