Diane Mims Wyatt, 61, of Clanton died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at UAB in Birmingham.
She was born Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1949, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Milford Mims and Myrtle Easterling Mims.
She was an interior designer in residential construction.
Surviving are husband, Mr. William H “Billy” Wyatt of Clanton; two sons, Mr. Carl Allen (Aleta) Wyatt of Clanton and the Rev. Shane (Stacey) Wyatt of Clanton; three granddaughters, Miss Avery Wyatt of Clanton, Miss Lauren Wyatt of Clanton and Miss Carlee Wyatt of Clanton; two grandsons, Mr. Nelson Wyatt of Clanton and Mr. Evan Wyatt of Clanton; mother, Mrs. Myrtle Mims of Clanton; two brothers, Mr. Roger Mims of Clanton and Mr. Danny Mims of Clanton; three sisters, Mrs. Shirley Emerick of Jemison, Mrs. Margie Ward of Clanton and Mrs. Debra Bean of Clanton; and beloved pet, Chance.
Services were held April 23 at 3 p.m. at Refuge Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Wallace and the Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.
Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery.
