Dewey O’Neal Gentry, 74, of Clanton died Friday, April 23, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Friday, May 3, 1935, in Chilton County, son of the late Calvin Gentry and the late Martha Jane Easterling Gentry.
He was a custodian.
Surviving are his wife, Varah A. Gentry of Clanton; two sons, Ivan Neal Gentry of Middletown, Ill. and Randall Gene Gentry of Clanton; two daughters, Jo Ann Wyatt of Jemison and Audrey M. Keener of Sylacauga; eight grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, April 25 at Martin Chapel.
Services will be held Monday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at Glad Tidings Church of God with the Rev. W. L. Adams and the Rev. Odell Bryant officiating.
Interment will follow in Glad Tidings Cemetery in Clanton.
