Maplesville softball has won nine games in its last 10 tries.

The last loss came against Montevallo, but the Red Devils on Monday avenged that defeat, topping Montevallo 4-2.

Maplesville (16-7) has won five consecutive games.

Courtney Killingsworth was the winning pitcher, scattering four hits over seven innings.

Killingsworth also led the way at the plate, going 3-for-3.

Katlyn Freeman, Heather Chambers and Kiana Andrews each accounted for two of the Devils’ 11 hits in the game.
