Jane Allison Nolen

Jane Allison Nolen, 74, of Clanton died Monday, April 5, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born Monday, Dec. 30, 1935, in Birmingham, daughter of the late Joseph Sulzby and the late Allison Frazee Sulzby.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She was an active volunteer in many ministries at First United Methodist Church and the Girl Scouts.  A trained teacher at heart, she shared her knowledge and love with all who came near her.
Surviving are her husband, Dan Nolen of Clanton; two daughters, Danelle (Chris) Glasscock of Kingsport, Tenn., Dana (Jeff) Langford of Homewood; son, Mark Daniel (Mary Ann) Nolen of Clanton; two brothers, Jimmy Sulzby of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jerry Sulzby of Prattville; eight grandchildren, Allison, Will and Kellen Glasscock; Nolen, JaneAnn and Alyssa Langford; and Sara and Grace Nolen; mother-in-law, and Mrs. Estelle Nolen of Montgomery.
Friends were received from noon until 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 7 at Clanton First United Methodist Church.
Services were held Wednesday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Anderson, the Rev. Brian Dovey and Dr. Henry Roberts officiating.
Interment followed in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
