The Spring Prayer Walk for Schools will be held Sunday at all Chilton County public school campuses.

During the Prayer Walk, members of each community go to their respective schools and pray for the safety of students and faculty members.

The event, sponsored by the Chilton Baptist Association, takes place twice each year, once in the spring and again in the fall. The public is invited to participate.

“We do this because our students, faculty and staff are important to us,” said coordinator Bobbie Traywick. “The Prayer Walk is a special freedom that we all should participate in.”

Traywick suggests praying for the safety of students in and out of the classroom, the homes of students, teachers and staff, as well as the superintendent and board of education.
