Minnie Lockhart Haddox, 91, of Clanton died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Friday, Sept. 27, 1918, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Ellis Rhodes and the late Sarah Cleckley Rhodes.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her three daughters, Mrs. Loretta (Willie) Cooedy of Clanton, Mrs. Emily (Sam) Easterling of Clanton and Mrs. Annette (Butch) Evans of Clanton; six sons, Mr. Gene (Geraldine) Lockhart of Clanton, Mr. James Earl (Judy) Lockhart of Clanton, Mr. Thomas (Rebecca) Lockhart of Clanton, Mr. Wilburt (Linda Gail) Lockhart of Clanton, Mr. Alton (Pat) Lockhart of Clanton and Mr. Ricky (Vicky) Lockhart of Clanton; 37 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 6 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Simpson and the Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.
Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery near Clanton.
