The Clanton Advertiser would like to retract an obituary that printed in the April 2 edition of the paper and on clantonadvertiser.com.

The report of Mr. Branch Robinson’s death submitted to the newspaper was factitious. Robinson is still very much alive and well in Live Oak, Texas.

The Advertiser regrets the error and offers its sincere apologies to the Robinson family.
