Thorsby defeated Shades Mountain, 14-0, in five innings on Tuesday in an area game.

Brantley Bice pitched a complete game shutout, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out eight.

Even Bryan was 3-for-4 at the plate with two triples and two runs scored.

Bice helped himself by going 2-for-4 with two runs scored an an RBI.

Drew Minor went 2-for-4.

Thorsby tallied 11 hits in all.

The Rebels are now 19-4 overall and 3-0 in area play. They also defeated Fultondale, 11-3, on March 27.

Thorsby visits Dallas County at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
