Jemison wins three straight

Jemison’s baseball team has won three straight games, going back to March 26.

The Panthers won two on March 27, first beating Montevallo, 9-2, and then topping West Blocton, 11-0.

Against Montevallo, Jacob Chapman earned the win by pitching six effective innings. Chase McCary came on in relief.

Chapman also went 3-for-3 at the plate.

Scott Clements went 2-for-3, and Jackson Mims was 2-for-2 with three RBI.

In the final game of the winning streak, Patrick Sims pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only one hit and striking out four.

Clements had another productive game, going 3-for-3 with four RBI, and Mims went 3-for-3 with three RBI.

Kaylor finished the game 2-for-3.
