Isabella’s baseball team over the weekend played five games in two days—and won four of them.

On March 26, the Mustangs split and doubleheader with Montevallo, losing 6-3 and then winning 10-9.

Then, on Saturday, Isabella won three games: 5-4 over Verbena, 5-2 over Verbena and 14-4 over Francis Marion in a region game.

Brothers Austin Haigler (two innings) and Sean Haigler (three innings) teamed up to shut down Marion, while Sawyer Cahalane, Allen Edwards and Adam Jones all had two hits.

Austin Anderson went 4-for-7 in the two Verbena games combined, and the winning pitchers in those contests were Travis Williams and Nick Noah, respectively.
