The softball games scheduled Thursday as part of the Chilton County tournament were canceled because of rain.

Play in the double elimination tournament will begin Friday at Jemison, the tournament host.

Jemison at Maplesville will play at 3 p.m., Thorsby and Verbena at 4:30 p.m., Isabella and the Game 1 winner at 6 p.m., and Chilton County and the Game 2 winner at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s play—which will begin at 9 a.m. and include six or seven games—will depend on the results from the first day.

All games except the championship game will be played with a 1:30 time limit.
