Thorsby defeated Vincent, 10-0, on Tuesday in both teams’ baseball area opener.

Thorsby starting pitcher Cody Carroll allowed one hit and no walks in six innings while striking out 10.

The Rebels (17-3) scored three runs in the second inning and then seven runs in the sixth to end the game early via mercy rule.

Evan Bryan (2/4, 2B, RBI, R), Carroll (2/3, R), Matt Morgan (2/4, R, RBI) and Jason Price (2/4, 2 2B, 2 R, RBI) all had multi-hit days for THS.
