The two county baseball tournament games scheduled for Friday have been canceled, said Derrick Littleton, baseball coach at Maplesville, the tournament host.

Littleton said the tentative plan is to play four games on Saturday, with the first game, between Jemison and Thorsby, beginning at 10 a.m. and the championship game beginning about 7 p.m.

Also, Chilton County and Jemison decided Thursday to play at Clanton’s Jack Hayes Field on Thursday evening. The two schools’ junior varsity teams will play at 5 p.m., and the varsity game will follow.
