A “Wired 2 Fish” crew filmed fishermen on Lake Mitchell in Chilton County Monday through Wednesday this week.

The show, which will air these particular episodes in April, broadcasts on weekends on ESPN2.

Scott Glorvigen, owner of Gemini Sport Marketing and “Wired 2 Fish” said they were in Alabama to cover last weekend’s Bassmaster Classic fishing tournament and decided to stick around to film for an episode of his show.

Notable anglers fishing on Lake Mitchell this week included Denny Drauer, Mike McClelland and Terry Brown.

The show offers how-to fishing tips for both the television broadcast and company Web site.

They used two boats during the shoot, one for the professional fishermen and one for the production crew.

Chilton County park ranger Frank Atkinson said they spent all three days on the water even during the recent bout of cold air.
