Baseball games involving local teams that were scheduled for Monday were canceled because of water remaining on fields.

Jemison was scheduled to host Childersburg at 6:30 p.m., and Thorsby was set to visit Indian Springs.

Jemison coach Jason Easterling and Thorsby coach Ab Argent said the games could be made up, but no date was known at press time.
