Grady Edgar Maudling, 95, of Clanton died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born Tuesday, March 17, 1914, in Shelby County, son of the late Stuart Goston Maudling and the late Roxie McKenzie Maudling.
He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his son, Shelton (Janice) Maudling of Clanton; daughter, Brenda (Skipper) Fulmer of Clanton; four granddaughters, Robin Cobern of Thorsby, Melissa Brock of Clanton, Teresa Fulmer of Clanton and Machelle Maudling of Clanton; step-granddaughter, Heather Mason of Clanton; great-granddaughter, Brittney Cobern of Thorsby; step great-grandson, Skyler Smith of Clanton; step great-granddaughter, Sarah Smith of Clanton; sister, Hattie Knight of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Louise Maudling.
Services were held Saturday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating.
Interment followed in Martin Memorial  Cemetery in Clanton.
