More winter weather is possible Sunday night into Monday morning.

Chilton County is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 9 p.m. Sunday to noon Monday.

The National Weather Service in Calera says a strong storm system will roll into central Alabama late Sunday. Rain will start falling Sunday evening and could turn into snow as temperatures fall after sunset.

Accumulations of one to two inches will be possible in the advisory area.

The greatest chance of winter weather will happen along and north of Interstate 20, where 1-2 inches is predicted.

Forecasts call for one half to 1 inch of snow south of I-20.

A winter weather advisory for snow means that winter weather could cause some travel difficulties. The weather service advises people to be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibility.
