Snow is on the ground in Chilton County!

Snow started falling earlier this morning but finally started accumulating about 10:30 a.m. in Clanton.

The National Weather Service forecasts 2-4 inches of snow accumulation for Chilton County.

The Chilton County Courthouse closed at noon, and Chilton County Schools decided Thursday not to open today.
