An offsides call on Thursday cost Chilton County’s soccer team a chance to tie host Marbury late in the match, a 3-2 Marbury win.

Marbury controlled the first half on a muddy field and led 3-0 at halftime, but CCHS was within one goal at 3-2 with 4 minutes left in the match.

CCHS (0-2) seemingly tied the score on a last minute drive, but a referee made the offsides call to wipe out the goal.

Noe Chavez and Anthony Johnson scored for the Tigers.
