Isabella’s girls basketball team fell to Pickens County, 60-27, on Thursday in the Class 2A, Area 7 tournament.

The Mustangs were within striking distance after one period, trailing 19-6, but could manage only four points in the second quarter and were down 34-10 at halftime.

Pickens was the No. 1 seed and tournament host.

Amber Wyatt led Isabella with eight points, and teammate Sherrell Wilson had six points.
