CCA boys, girls lose last two

Chilton Christian Academy will have to right the ship as the playoffs near.

Both the boys and girls teams have lost their last two contests.

The boys fell to Northside Methodist (Dothan), 57-41 on Jan. 22, and to Eastwood Christian (Montgomery), 68-39 on Tuesday.

Junior forward Zach Brown scored 11 points for CCA against Northside, and senior guard Tim Harris recorded eight point and 14 rebounds.

In the Eastwood game, junior center Tyler Gray paced the Patriots (13-5, 3-3 conference) with 12 points, and Harris had 11 points and nine rebounds.

The girls lost to Northside by a 25-18 score and to Eastwood 40-32.

Senior guard Summer Hall posted nine points and 13 rebounds against Northside and just barely missed a triple-double—with 18 points, 12 rebounds and nine steals—in the Eastwood game.
