Andrew J. “Jimmy” Scott, 74, of Clanton died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at his residence.
He was born on Sunday, March 24, 1935, in Chilton County, son of the late Jim Scott and the late Charlise Ray Scott.
He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ellen Ruth Scott of Clanton; daughter, Mrs. Yvonne (Rocky) Heptinstall of Thorsby; son, Mr. Tim (Debbie) Scott of Thorsby; two half brothers; six half sisters; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Mr. Chancse Jones; and four half brothers.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Heath Vines and the Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.
Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
