Two men were arrested on drug charges last week at a home outside Maplesville.
Chilton County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Barry Robinson of 123 County 624 in Clanton and Charles Rigsby of 10826 U.S. 82 in Maplesville at a home on Highway 82 just outside Maplesville.
The men face charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies executed a search warrant after getting complaints from neighbors.
Sheriff Kevin Davis said the county is seeing a rise in the use of methamphetamines.
Help and tips from the public go a long way in helping make arrests in these cases, Davis said.
“We appreciate when people call in and give us valuable information that helps us in the fight against illegal narcotics,” Davis said.
The sheriff encourages anyone who has information about illegal drug activity or any other case to call the Secret Witness Line at 755-7898.
The line allows people to leave a recorded message anonymously. There is no caller ID for the line.
