Dates have been set for the 2010 Peach Pageants, Lions Club President Steve Forrest recently announced.

The Little Miss Peach Pageant will be Saturday, June 19 and will be followed by the Young Miss Pageant on Monday, June 21, the Junior Miss Pageant on Tuesday, June 22 and the Miss Peach Pageant on Thursday, June 24.

The Clanton Lions Club sponsors the annual Peach Festival. Tom Brown will serve as festival chairman this year.

The Peach Parade will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 26 and will be followed by the Peach Auction at 10 a.m.

More information on pageant deadlines and where contestants can pick up applications will be printed in future issues of The Clanton Advertiser.
