Conway, Michael Kenneth, 55, a resident of Shelby, died Jan. 5 2010 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
A retiree of U.S. Steel, Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Conway; his daughter, Michalyn Kasper; his stepdaughters, Heather Reynolds and Katherine Reynolds; his grandchildren, Joseph Kasper, Annabel Kasper, Gus Reynolds, Payton Jones and Preston Jones; his father, D.K. Conway; and his sisters, Diann Frucci and Susan Holcombe.
A memorial service to celebrate his life was held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation preceded the service, at 3 p.m.
