Chilton County’s boys and Maplesville’s girls basketball teams on Saturday won county basketball tournament championships.

CCHS topped Maplesville, 56-49, to win its eighth consecutive county title.

Maplesville handed Thorsby its first loss of the season in the girls championship game. The Red Devils won, 47-39.
