Chilton County on Friday made 16 of 17 free throw attempts to pick up its first area win, 61-53 over Demopolis.

Josh Williams led the Tigers (5-4, 1-2 area) with 19 points.

Grantland Karn posted 15 points and 14 rebounds for CCHS.

Taylor Hughes scored 13 points, and Nelson Williams had 10.
