Jemison Elementary School will host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday from 8-10 a.m.

The event will be held in the school cafeteria, where elementary school students, teachers and parents can enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast and have photos taken with Santa.

This is the first Breakfast with Santa, and excitement is filling the halls of the school.

“The students are very excited, we have already sold many tickets in advance,” said Louise Pitts, JES principal.

Ticket cost is $5 for breakfast, and an additional $2 for photos with Santa.

The money received will go toward helping the elementary school teachers purchase school supplies for the spring semester.

“Because of proration, our budget doesn’t allow extra money for supplies,” Pitts said. “We came up with this idea to help raise money, and the teachers just ran with it.”

In addition to breakfast and photos with Santa, children will be able to make holiday arts and crafts to share with their loved ones.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, or at JES.
