Lottie Murr Skidmore, 80, of Tuscaloosa died Nov. 26, 2009, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Martin Funeral Home in Clanton with Brian Jones and Greg Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are nieces, Pat (Larry) Davis of Tuscaloosa, Charlorre (David) Waite, Doris (Randall) Wyatt, Dixie (Barry) Jones, Donna Williams and Wanda Foster; nephews, Chris (Peggy) Burnett, Douglas Burnett, Rayburn Davis, Wayne Carté ; and several other great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Joe Lee Skidmore Sr. and Vicie N. Skidmore; sisters, Mary Leavelle, Virginia Pumphrey and Annie Lee Patterson; brothers: George, Clay, Tom and Joe Lee Jr. Skidmore; and niece, Mary Joe Skidmore.
Lottie was a resident of Clanton for 40 years. She retired from Gulf States Paper Corp. and moved to Tuscaloosa where she resided until her death.
She was a wonderful friend and a loving Aunt who was always there when her family needed her. She was cherished by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
