District Court Judge Rhonda Hardesty announced Wednesday she is seeking the Chilton County Republican Party’s nomination for a third term.

“I am pleased to announce my intention to seek re-election as District Judge of Chilton County. I will be seeking the Republican nomination for the third time in the June 2010 Primary,” she said

“I have appreciated the opportunity to serve as your district judge for 11 years. During that time I have tried to be fair and impartial in my rulings and to be faithful to the Rule of Law. With the help of an excellent staff and clerk’s office, I have kept my caseload current. I continue to have a strong work ethic and take the responsibilities you have given me seriously,” she said, adding, “I would appreciate your vote and support in the upcoming election.”
