Ella Hershey Carter, 94, of Mooresville, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at her residence.
She was born March 16, 1915, in Thorsby to the late Charles and Inga Howard. She was a homemaker and an avid Bridge player at the Mooresville Citizens Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen H. Carter.
She is survived by her son, David Carter and wife Beverly of Mooresville.
She will be buried at a later date beside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery. Calvin-Cook Funeral Home of Mooresville is serving the Carter family.
