George Lowery

George “Flop” Winston Lowery, 39, of Jemison died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born on Friday, Feb. 20, 1970, in Chilton County, son of the late Bobby Frank Lowery and Joyce Ann Wesson Lowery.
He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Joyce Lowery of Jemison; grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Wesson of Jemison; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends; and girlfriend, Ms. Amy Dooley of Jemison.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be Saturday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. at Archers Chapel Methodist Protestant Church with the Rev. Eugene Atchison officiating.
Interment will follow in Archers Chapel Methodist in Clanton.
