A Clanton man was arrested Friday and charged with assaulting his father.

Corey Ellison Jr. allegedly attacked his father at a home on Alabama 145 just north of Exit 210 on Interstate 65, according to Sheriff Kevin Davis.

Sheriff’s deputies, using tracking dogs, found Ellison after a brief manhunt.
