The funeral service for Daisy Brown, 99, will be Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ms. Brown died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. She retired from Sylacauga Hospital as an LPN after 23 years of service and was a member of Westview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers.

She is survived by her sister, Mattie Hay of Sylacauga, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 17, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Billy Brown, William Brown, Wayne Brown, Nathan Brown, Barney Brown and Jack Bachman. Honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Brown and Roger Brown.
