Lillian Marvareen Elbert, 92, of Jones died Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at Prattville Health and Rehab in Prattville.
She was born on Saturday, May 5, 1917 in Chilton County, daughter of the late George Grover and the late Lily Mull Grover.
She was a filing clerk.
Surviving are her two brothers, James Grover of Selma and Paul Grover of Florence; three sisters, Dora Ernest of Panama City, Fla., Lerlene Radford of Prattville and Millie Chandler of Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elbert; brothers, Wilton and Huelard Grover; and sisters, Wilda Arthur, Edna Lenoir Morgan and Marie Sims.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Eaton officiating.
