The Harvest Riders will hold a bike ride Saturday, Oct. 10 to raise money to help needy kids at Christmas.

Registration will be from 8-10 a.m. at the Waffle House in Calera, which will cater breakfast, starting at 9 a.m.

The ride will leave at 10 a.m. The first 75 to register will get a free shirt. The Harvest Chapel Church in Calera will serve lunch.

The ride will go through Calera, Columbiana, Rockford, Clanton and Jemison, before circling back to Calera.

Registration is $25 per bike, plus $5 for a second rider. To register, call Sandy at 475-8412. The event is rain or shine.
