Mary Knox Sherrill

Mary Dean Knox Sherrill, 73, of Childersburg died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center.
She was a member of Bon Air Baptist Church. She was married for 52 years and was a devoted wife. She loved to travel and loved her pets.
Mrs. Knox is survived by her husband, Herman Sherrill of Childersburg; two sisters, Margie Knox Brown of Auburn and Glennie Knox Masters of Vincent; sister-in-law, Wanda Sherrill Ridley of Childersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, James Cicero Knox and Ressie Rhodes Knox; three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will take place Thursday, Oct. 1 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel, with the Rev. Allen Harvel officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Danny Caldert, Mark Ridley, Mike Ridley, Daryl Masters, William Masters and James Masters.
