The Isabella Junior High volleyball team defeated the Thorsby Rebels 2-0 in match play on Thursday afternoon.

The Lady Mustangs easily won the first game, 25-15. Micha Carroll led the Mustangs with three aces. Savannah Lenoir, Yesenia Lopez and Amber Flannigan recorded two aces each.

Lenoir, Landy Griffin,Lopez, Carroll and Audrey Fancher each recorded a kill.

In the second game, the Lady Mustangs won 25-19 to sweep the Rebels.

Lenoir and Carroll had the hot hands, recording six and four aces, respectively. Griffin, Kacie Adams and Charity Lockhart each recorded a kill.
