Tipton Leon Burnette, age 85, of Valley Grande, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009. Survivors include his wife, Blanche Burnette; sons, Tipton Leon Burnette II (Carla) and Glenn Allan Burnette; sister, Margie Engellant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Stanton with Bro. Danny Rasberry officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Burnette was part of a large family of 11.
