Two new specialists have joined the staff of Health Access Center on Lay Dam Road.

Dr. Scott Appell is an orthopaedic surgeon. He graduated from the University of Florida Medical School in 1986 and completed an internship and two residencies at the University of Alabama Medical Center.

Dr. Francois Blaudeau is director of the Center for Advanced Gynecological Surgery and the Alabama Surgical Institute.

He has helped develop cutting edge minimally invasive surgeries in gynecology.

The doctors will be at the clinic at least one day a week.

The additions bring the total number of specialists at the Health Access Center to seven.

The property is next to Chilton Medical Center.
