Annie Ruth Davis Chapman, 67, of Thorsby died Tuesday at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born on Saturday, May 30, 1942, in Montgomery, daughter of the late Charles Joy Davis and the late Ellen Victoria Basil Davis.
She was a press operator.
Surviving are her four sons, Charles Lee Childress of Clanton, Ted Childress, Jr. of Clanton, David Allen Childress of Clanton, and James Ronald Chapman Jr. of Clanton; two daughters, Anita Shaw of Clanton and Kathryn Childress of Clanton; step-son, Barry Chapman of Clanton; two step-daughters, Rhonda Littleton of Clanton and Angel Bavar of Clanton; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Peggy Davis of Clanton, Rhonda Macon of Verbena and Jodi Medford of Prattville; and brother, Everett Davis of Red Oak, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Chapman.
Friends were received from 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Martin Funeral Home. Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Willard Scott officiating. Interment followed in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
