The Jemison Panthers fell to the Marbury Bulldogs 21-18 in an exhibition game Friday night.

Javae Swindle scored one touchdown for the Panthers on a 20-yard run, and the other two touchdowns were both courtesy of David King. Each of King’s scoring runs were from about 3 yards out.

For the Bulldogs, Lorenzo Cooper ran in a 14-yard pass from Pierre Warren in the first half. Later, Warren himself scored on a 24-yard pass from Kerston Chapman.

Finally, in the fourth quarter, it was Hunter Edwards bringing it home for Marbury with an 82-yard touchdown run.

The game was delayed quite a bit during halftime, and all band members were moved into the gymnasium temporarily.

After the half, each team was given two possessions and the junior varsity players finished out the game.
