Jessie Charles Marcus, 89, of Clanton died Aug. 10 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
She was born on Friday, Feb. 6, 1920, in Clanton, daughter of the late Vollie Littleton and the late Virgie Davis Littleton.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her grandson, Greg (Laurie) Marcus of Thorsby; granddaughter, Tam Patrick of Birmingham; great-granddaughter, Kylee Patrick of Birmingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Reed Marcus, and two sons, Randal Marcus and Ross Marcus.
Friends were be received from 2-3 p.m. Thursday at Collins Chapel Baptist Church.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Collins Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Hilyer officiating. Interment followed in Collins Chapel Cemetery in Thorsby.
Martin Funeral Home directed.
