Jessie Charles Marcus, 89, of Clanton died Monday at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born on Friday, Feb. 6, 1920 in Clanton, daughter of the late Vollie Littleton and the late Virgie Davis Littleton.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her Grandson, Greg (Laurie) Marcus of Thorsby; granddaughter, Tam Patrick of Birmingham; great-granddaughter, Kylee Patrick of Birmingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Reed Marcus and two sons, Randal Marcus and Ross Marcus.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Collins Chapel Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Collins Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Hilyer officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery in Thorsby.
