Lillie Mae Vines, 86, of Clanton died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.

She was born Friday, Feb. 16, 1923 in Coffee County, daughter of the late Berry Wood and the late Bertha Davis Wood.

She was a retired sales clerk.

Surviving are her two sons, Charles (Barbara) Hyte of Clanton, Ricky Vines of Clanton; two daughters, Judy (Bobby) Martin of Clanton, Janice Hill of Lawley; eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Velmus L. Vines; grandson, Wesley Hyte and brother, Jack Wood.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
